The Jeffery Owens Community Center will hold a series of summer events designed as fundraisers for the Riverside-Inland Empire Pride Committee. The group is responsible for Riverside’s Pride event which was held last year at White Park.

The series of events includes “Bringing It Home,” Cassi’s Capers is a variety show which includes live singing, dancing, magicians, and comedy.

The event will be held at the Menagerie on Sunday, June 28th, 2009. The Menagerie is located at 3581 University Avenue in Riverside, California. The show starts at 6 p.m., doors open at 4 p.m.

The event is free and includes a buffet. JOCC will use the venue to sell raffle tickets as a fundraiser for the Riverside-IE Pride Festival currently being planned for 2009.
