Laurel “Petie” Bolgiano, 85, died peacefully June 10, 2009. Graduate of Cornell and Columbia, she had a successful career as a group social worker in New York City.
She is survived by her companion, Margaret Treanor, her sister, Frances Smith and brother-in-law Gordon Smith, nephews Peter, Jeffrey, and Stuart Smith and a niece Susan Smith.
