A day after voters pass Proposition 8, banning same-sex marriage, protesters fill the streets of West Hollywood.

Seven people were arrested and a police officer was injured Wednesday night when Proposition 8 emotions spilled to the streets of Hollywood.

Conservative Christians are very organized in their efforts to support Prop. 8, but some other religious leaders are lending their voices to the ‘No on 8′ Campaign.

If passed, Proposition 8 will ban same-sex marriage in California. Campaigns on both sides of the issue have worked tirelessly to sway the vote.

Proposition 8 is in for a close race which may not be decided for a day or more.
