Ford has expanded a previous recall, adding 4.5 million cars. The problem is a faulty cruise-control switch that puts the cars at risk of catching fire. More than 14 million vehicles have been recalled because of the problem.
The recall does not affect the Ford Flex, which has been reviewed by Instant Wheels Editor, Paul Batista.
